14th - 17th century sausage bag

This bag is made from tan goat skin and is stitched by hand. The design for this bag comes from a number of illustrations and is a typical style of shoulder bag between the 14th and 17th centuries. The main seam has a piping strip inserted into it which helps to keep the rain out and the bag is kept closed with a strong leather drawstring and a leather slider.

The bag measures 10 inches wide and 25 long (25 x 64cm) when open. The strap, including the bag, is 60 inches(152cm) long.
Price: £65.00
