Flat backed money purse with internal divider

This purse is made from brown goat and calf skin with a tan bound edge and is stitched by hand. The design for this purse comes from a surviving purse found in Sommelsdijk dated to around 1500. It has a soft goat skin front with a stiffer calf skin back and an internal divider inside.

It measures 3 1/3 inches wide and 5 inches long (9 x 13cm).
