This purse is made from buckthorn yellow goat skin and oak gall black calf skin and is stitched by hand. The design for this purse comes from "The Doctor's Visit" by Jan Steen 1661 and is a typical 17th century style. It has a draw string fronted bag with a stiff calf leather back and belt loop. The belt loop and button flap are decorated with a tooling design and inside it has a divider.

It measures 12 x 7 inches (30 x 18cm).
