Ladies 16th century pear shaped purse with two sections

This purse is made from brazilwood red goat and calf skin with tan bound edges and it is stitched by hand. The design for this purse is based on a figure in "The Peasant Dance" by Pieter Bruegel painted in 1568. It hangs from a leather cord which also keeps the main section closed and the front section has its own drawstring with a hand made bead on the end.

It measures 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15cm) when open.
Price: £85.00
