17th century sword hanger

This sword hanger is made from oak gall black cattle hide that has been dyed using period dyes and is made entirely by hand. The design for this hanger is based on a surviving example in the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. It has a brass buckle with a buckle plate and the seams are stitched with a decorative cross stitch.

The belt is 2 inches(5cm) wide and up to 65 inches (164cm) long which will be cut to size. The two sword loops are 6 1/2 inches(17cm) wide and will take a sword scabbard that it up to 2 inches(5cm) wide.
