16th - 17th century large belt wallet with a tooled scalloped front and two pouchlets

This belt wallet is made from brazilwood red calf and goat skin and is stitched by hand. It has two additional pouchlets on the front that are kept closed with their own drawstrings. The flap is decorated with a tooling design and the edge is bound with tan leather. The design is based on a number of 16th and 17th century illustrations and is a common design in that period.

It measures 10 inches wide and 8 long (26 x 20cm).
Price: £80.00
