Quiver with spacer

This quiver is made from tan calf skin and is stitched by hand. The design is based on a number of period illustrations and some surviving fragments found on the wreck of the Mary Rose. It has a folding top and a leather spacer stitched into the top part of the bag that has 20 holes punched in it which keeps the flights of the arrows apart so that they don't become crushed and change the flight of the arrow. This quiver is suitable for arrows with bodkins and field points.

It measures 36 inches (91cm) long when closed and 23 inches (58cm) long when the top is folded down.
