This sword hanger is made from tan cattle hide that has been dyed using period dyes and is made entirely by hand. The design for this hanger is based on a surviving example in the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. It has a brass buckle with a buckle plate and the seams are stitched with a decorative cross stitch.

The belt is 2 inches(5cm) wide and up to 65 inches (164cm) long which will be cut to size. The two sword loops are 6 1/2 inches(17cm) wide and will take a sword scabbard that it up to 2 inches(5cm) wide.
