This purse is made from oak gall black goat and calf skin and is stitched by hand. The design for this purse comes from "The Doctor's Visit" by Jan Steen 1661 and is a typical 17th century style. It has a draw string fronted bag with a stiff calf leather back and belt loop. The belt loop and button flap are decorated with a tooling design and the edges are bound with tan leather. Inside it has a divider and a coin purse with it's own drawstring.

It measures 12 x 7 inches (30 x 18cm).
